Music Festival Chests

Ventura Music Festival's Treasure Chests

This year, the Ventura Music Festival presents “Treasure Chests”, the fifth annual visual arts exhibition presented in partnership with selected local artists. Handcrafted chests (30 x 20 x 20”) were the canvases upon which these accomplished artists rendered richly diverse and three dimensional compositions. This exciting show is produced in conjunction with “Romanze!,” the Festival’s 2010 concert season.
These unique works will be on display at local venues from mid-December to early March.

“Treasure Chests” is a successful celebration and collaboration of visual art and music!

New Membership

Monica Wiesblott has been juried into the Los Angeles Printmakers Society!!

This is a very prestigious group of printmakers and will allow Monica to exhibit with them both as a group and individually in their name in and around the Los Angeles area.

We are all quite proud of Monica and her work.

Donna Carver exhibiting in the Northwest!

Donna Carver has been Juried into Peninsula's Art League as an Exhibiting Member in the following forms:
2D Fine Art: Acrylic Painting, Monotypes and Dry point Etchings.

Gallery at the Crowne

Lynn LeTourneau's Magical Landscape was featured in this years Artwalk map and can be viewed in person in the Winter show at
" The Gallery at The Crowne"

The Crowne Plaza hotel here in Ventura.
There will be a reception for the artists on November 5th from 5-8pm .

Please make it part of your Thursday nights activities and support Local Artists!

Artwalk 2009!!

Monica Wiesblott and Lynn LeTourneau will display and have prints and photos to sell at Stoneworks Studios Harvest Art Walk.

300 N Ventura Ave (corner of Park Row & Ventura Ave)
Sat. Oct. 24 1-10 pm

and

Sun. Oct. 25, 12-5 pm.

That is site #7 on the artwalk map, there is a shuttle stop right outside the gates!

Additional parking at Catholic Charities Parking lot across the street

Also Inkspotters Betsy, Judy, Tiger and Leslie will be displaying in the gallery on site!
