Inkspot Members in LOS ANGELES





JOIN US FOR "THE LAST HURRAH AT THE BLUE WHALE!"

  Opening Reception Friday, May 23rd             5:00~8:30pmThe Pacific Design Center

This will be the final exhibition at the LA Print Space, the gallery space of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society. The LA Print Space focused on bringing exceptional contemporary print exhibitions to the Los Angeles public. This show will include 65 prints selected from nearly 240 entries from the national pool of artist members in this venerable print organization. Viewers will be treated to a wide variety of accomplished prints using traditional and non-traditional techniques from letterpress to intaglio, artist books and collage.

Artwork for the show was selected by long-time artist and former instructor at CSULB, Judy Chan. Judy Chan is well known for her mixed media works on paper and represented at numerous galleries and is in the collection of the Long Beach Museum of Art and the Japanese American National Museum.

The Irish exchange exhibition between the Los Angeles Printmaking Society and the Black Church Print Studio (BCPS) Dublin, Ireland

Opening Thursday 12 January from 6.00-8.00pm
Exhibition runs from January 9 through January 28, 2012 at
at Monster Truck Gallery, 4 Temple Bar, Dublin 2


AND
Monica Wiesblott also got juried into the
Traces, Marks and Fragments exhibition at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art.
Her etching "The Gleaners" was selected.

The City of Brea Art Gallery is pairing up with the LA Printmakers Society to co-sponsor an exhibition featuring fine art printmaking entries juried from LAPS’ members. With over 500 members world wide, this exhibition is sure to feature an expansive number of print techniques include engravings, woodcuts, linocuts, etchings intaglio, embossments, serigraphs, lithographs, monoprints, aquatint and mezzotint. You won’t want to miss this exhibition highlighting some of the greatest contemporary printmakers in the world.

Monica Wiesblott in Merced

MCAC Gallery presents California Centered: Printmaking Exhibition

In its fifth year, the printmaking exhibition will feature more than
35 pieces by 16 different artists,
including three from Wiesblott.
A reception for the artists will be held form 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 14
at the Multicultural Arts Center, 645 W. Main Street.
The show will run through June 24.

Sullivan Goss-An American Gallery in their:
100Grand show

Celebrating the opening of the second annual holiday exhibit 100 Grand, featuring 100 paintings in one room. The show features a wonderful variety of works by many local and contemporary artists, as well as works from artist’s estates represented by Sullivan Goss.
